santa rosa has a patch of smoke. in napa, it is growing south toward vallejo. 29, 12, 101, all these areas impacted and a lot of people are waking up to the smell of smoke. the current conditions in sonoma, temperatures are 68 and humidity is down to 13%. the north and northeast winds, it is sustained at 14 and gusting as high as 39. the direction, we all smell that down in the bay area. the smoke is down in san francisco and there is a wind advisory that ends at 11:00. the next few hours, intense winds will impact trees, power lines and power outages. sustained wind is calm in places like fremont but oakland, 15 and to the north, napa has sustained winds at 14. santa rosa just bumped up and constant wind with firefighters and it is dangerous because we are seeing video of amber's blowing. futurecast shows 22 mile-per- hour winds gusting and strong over napa and fairfield. watch this area in red. the intensity will continue through 7:00 this morning and by 8:00, 22 miles-an-hour sustained winds for napa and will calm

it's all very a welcome sight to normal life in santa rosa. you just saw some of the time lapse video let me show you some more from another security camera at sutter hospital. you can see the fire advancing from the left. so high winds blowing embers close to the building. 77 patients were evacuated within six hours. the hospital is thoroughly cleaned and inspected by two state health agencies and deemed ready to go but in the meantime, a lot of patients here from sutter ended up at santa rosa memorial hospital. that caused an emergency in their emergency room with an influx of transfers and victims. we heard from some of their staffers yesterday. >> we have seen around 40 respiratory cases of differing severity. there is a baseline number that -- that we normally see in this community, but we think about 400 additional due to the poor air quality and direct smoke inhalation. >> reporter: sutter hospital wasn't the only hospital in santa rosa that had to evacuate. also kaiser permanente. here's video from kaiser permanente. the third hospital
